Tuition & Fees

Ph.D. program tuition is charged on a per credit basis. All courses are three credits. A minimum of 66 credits must be earned to graduate.

Full tuition information and breakdown of costs can be found on the financial aid website. Contact Kristin Conley, Director of PhD Admissions, at knconley@indianatech.edu to learn more about scholarship opportunities.

Additional Program Costs

Prospective students should also note the following costs specific to the Ph.D. in Global Leadership program:

Textbooks and Software

Required textbooks and software are not included in the cost of tuition. Class material requirements are expressly communicated and students are able to use their own discretion in how they obtain them. Average materials cost per course is $100.  Registered students can access the Ph.D. Textbooks Requirements Library.

Residency Weekends

While students are not charged by Indiana Tech to attend residency weekends, they are responsible for all travel costs associated with them. This would include transportation, hotel, meals, etc. (Note: Most meals are provided by the department during a residency weekend.)

Global Travel Practicums (Optional)

Global travel practicums are an optional component of the Ph.D. program.  Students who elect to participate in a department-led global practicum trip are responsible for all associated costs.  The cost for these excursions (typically eight to 10 days in length) averages $2,500 to $3,500.
